Parador Old

 

 

One of the oldest courses in Spain, built in 1929 when land was not at such a premium, Parador golf is a fairly flat part links, part parkland course with wide fairways and well established trees which are home to numerous parakeets. Just 5 minutes from Malaga airport, this is a great course to play on the first and/or last day of your break.

 

One of the most underrated courses on the coast, Parador is a challenging test of golf whilst maintaining good value for money.  The wide fairways are forgiving for higher handicappers whilst the length offers up a challenge for the lower handicap golfers.  Test your game on the long par 4 of the back 9, and don't be disappointed if you don't reach the greens as often as you'd like. 

 

An additional 9 holes has been introduced and is more suitable for beginners or juniors.

 

Water fountains can be found near the 4th and the 13th green and there is a bar at the 9th just incase all the walking requires a quick refreshment.  There is no club bar as such but you can have a after-round drink at th Parador Hotel  Bar

 

	Sol Principe Torremolinos (3km) The Sol Principe Torremolinos is located right on the beachfront with direct access to the beautiful Playamar Beach, in one of the most popular resorts on the Costa del Sol with a host of shops, restaurants, bars and clubs, amongst other attractions. Great option for golfing groups!
	Riu Nautilus Hotel (7km) A firm favourite with both golfing groups and families, a great position on the edge of Torremolinos, on the beach and a short stroll to the Marina at Benelmadena.
	Puerto Marina Benalmadena Hotel (7km) Right next to the marina at Benalamadena with a host of bars and restaurants offering excellent nightlife for golfing groups and couples who like a livelier alternative to a golf resort holiday.
	Sunset Beach Aparthotel (10km) The Sunset Beach Club combines the convenience and value of self-catering with the full facilities and services of a four star hotel.
	Torrequebrada Hotel (11km) If you like a flutter on the tables, and then take in a dinner show, all in 5 star class, this cosmopolitan hotel set right on the beach opposite the Torrequebrada golf course is the place for you.
